Following Duterte’s Announcement, Cebu Pacific Is Now Fully Booked

This led to President Duterte declaring a community lockdown on Metro Manila. According to previous reports, the lockdown would begin from March 15 to April 14.

Following this, people rush to the airport and tried to get a flight back home before the quarantine begins. However, due to the high volume of passengers, Cebu Pacific said it was now fully booked.

According to a report from ABS-CBN, the airline announced that its domestic flights at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport were now fully booked as of Saturday.

As a measure against the spread of COVID-19, the airline urged passengers to avoid going to the airport to facilitate their refund or rebook their flights.

Instead, they wanted people to fix their travel funds online due to “health and safety” purposes.

As per the report, the airline stated they were in the process of cancellations for flights between March 15 to April 14.

Along with this, the airline said it was ” mounting recovery options in the coming days and will announce them as soon as they are available.”
