WHO Announces Coronavirus Now Pandemic
CORONAVIRUS NOW PANDEMIC – The World Health Organization (WHO) declared the COVID-19 as “pandemic”.
China, Philippines, United States, Iran, Italy, France, Hong Kong, Japan, and Singapore are only among the many countries with confirmed cases of coronavirus. Currently, the Filipinos are on a tight watch for the increasing confirmed coronavirus cases in the Philippines.
As of this writing, 49 confirmed cases of coronavirus were recorded by the authorities in PH. The Department of Health (DOH) has also confirmed a case of local transmission in the country.
Italy is now under a total lock-down after a rapid increase on its coronavirus cases. Mongolia has also closed its country following the first confirmed case in the country.
Recently, the World Health Organization (WHO) made an announcement regarding the COVID-19. Based on CNN, WHO declared coronavirus as now pandemic in the global world.
According to WHO, the said declaration is made when a disease for which people have no immunity spreads in the different countries far above than what is expected. It does not change information on the disease’s characteristics.
Recently, Philippines recorded its 2nd death case due to coronavirus. Most of the 45 patients being treated now are confined in hospitals in Metro Manila.
