Willie Revillame was riding on his chopper when Taal volcano erupted
Wowowin host Willie Revillame was able to capture on video the Taal volcano eruption from his chopper.
Willie is now a licensed pilot as he took flying lessons after buying his own helicopter. The game show host now has 2 choppers that he use for easy transportation.
Previously, he shared one of the reasons why he wanted to take flying lessons. Kuya Wil said that if ever there is a calamity, he could use his ability to help other people.
Just recently, the game show host witnessed a natural disaster – the eruption of Taal volcano. Based on the article from the Philippine Entertainment Portal, Willie Revillame was practicing his Robinson R44 when the eruption happened.
The TV host noticed an unusual form of smoke coming from the volcano. “I think 1 P.M. yun nang makita ko na palaki nang palaki ang usok mula sa Taal Volcano at nakita ko lahat from the start. Nag-training ako kahapon ng chopper flying kaya nakita ko lahat. Ako lang ang nakakuha ng video habang nasa chopper,” he shared.
In another video, the host’ chopper was seen landing in Tuy, Batangas. He was able to talk to one of the residents there.

When asked about his rest house in Tagaytay, Willie said, “Sobrang dumi ng lugar ko puro putik. Ayun, naglilinis lahat ngayon. Ganoon talaga, kasama sa buhay natin ang kalamidad.”
Meanwhile, Willie is happy that his show Wowowin will be extending until Saturday. He shared that there had been many people requesting this.
