Father and Son Received Help from Concerned Netizen

A heartbreaking story of a father and son from Batangas who traveled just walking only to reach Barangay San Nicolas in San Narciso Quezon.

A concerned netizen named Breezy Ibarra shared heart breaking encounter with a farmer who had walked a long way from Sto. Tomas, Batangas to return home to San Nicolas, Quezon. Father named Crisanto Amican, 57, with his two children aged eight and two.

Tatay Crisanto said, he used to work in Talisay, Batangas. Unfortunately, he lost his job because of illness. Unfortunately, his wife left them alone, so Crisanto decided to leave and go to Quezon.

Based on the netizen’s share, Crisanto came from Talisay, Batangas and, with his two children, traveled to San Nicanor, Quezon but their fare only enough to reached Sto. Tomas, Batangas.  Crisanto decided to walk more than two hundred kilometers just to reach Quezon because he had no money left.

The farmer passed by Barangay San Nicolas in San Pablo City where they met by netizen, who is a barangay official. They were rested and fed by the netizen in the barangay hall.

“Awang-awa ako sa mga bata isang 8 at 2 taong gulang lalo’t higit kay tatay dahil nilakad niya karga ang dalawang anak niya. Minasdan ko sila na tila pagod na pagod at gutom na gutom kaya pinakain namin ni hepe at ininterview at blotter,” said by the netizen.

According to him, they would make way to help the pitiful father and son to get home as soon as possible. They spend overnight and rest in the barangay hall.
