Latest Weather Updates Released by PAGASA (December 19)
WEATHER UPDATE – The state weather bureau PAGASA released the latest weather updates in the Philippines.
On Thursday (December 19, 2019), the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration reported that the easterlies would continue to affect the weather condition over the whole country.
PAGASA said that the easterlies would bring cloudy weather conditions with rainshowers and isolated thunderstorms over the Eastern Visayas and Caraga. It would also bring partly cloudy to cloudy conditions with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms over Metro Manila and the rest of the country.
The weather agency also advised the residents in the affected areas to take precautionary measures for possible flash floods and landslides during severe thunderstorms.
Meanwhile, the coastal water conditions over the eastern sections of Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao would be moderate to rough, according to the weather bureau. Slight to moderate surrounding sea conditions are expected over the rest of the country.
