PAGASA: Easterlies To Affect Entire PH Weather Condition (Dec 18)

PAGASA Releases Latest Weather Updates

WEATHER UPDATE – The state weather bureau PAGASA reported that the easterlies would affect the weather condition over the entire country.

On Wednesday (December 18, 2019), Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration released the latest weather update in the country. The weather bureau reported that the easterlies would affect the whole archipelago.

PAGASA said that the easterlies would bring partly cloudy to cloudy condition with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms over the provinces of Batanes, Cagayan, Isabela, Quirino, Nueva Vizcaya, Apayao, Kalinga, Abra, Mt. Province, Ifugao, Benguet, Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Sur, La Union, Pangasinan and Aurora.

The same weather system would also bring cloudy conditions with  rainshowers and thunderstorms over the Eastern Visayas. Partly cloudy to cloudy conditions with isolated rainshowers and thunderstorms are also expected over the  rest of Visayas, Palawan and Occidental Mindoro.

Meanwhile, the coastal weather conditions over Northern Luzon and in Aurora Province as well as Visayas, Palawan and Occidental Mindoro would be moderate to rough, according to the weather bureau.

The weather agency also warned the residents in the affected areas to take precautionary measures for possible flashfloods and landslides during severe thunderstorms.
