Carlos Yulo shuts down malicious comments over Mark Bautista’s personal message to him.
CARLOS YULO – SEA Games champion Carlos Yulo received a congratulatory message from Mark Bautista but some netizens put malice to it.
Based on a previous report, the SEA Games athlete Carlos Yulo shared something on his social media account – a screenshot of a congratulatory message from the singer Mark Bautista which was sent to him through personal messaging.
However, blown out of proportion, some netizens reacted putting malice to a very candid message from the singer. This is probably because Bautista came out of the closet, thus, innocent intent of message was put in a bad light and some even took the mere congratulatory message as an indication of flirting.
With this, in a Twitter post, the national athlete who continues to bring medals for our country in this year’s SEA Games, wrote in a post, “It saddens me to see tweets about [Mark Bautista] because of my tweet out of excitement. Kindness, message of encouragement and appreciation is not a sign of flirting. Let’s focus on #SeaGames2019 and winning as One.”
