Female Passenger Expresses Concern Over Alleged Inappropriate Audio Played Inside PUV in Palawan
A female passenger has raised a concern after allegedly hearing inappropriate audio being played inside a public utility multicab.
The complaint was sent to the Facebook page 103.1 Brigada News FM – Palawan, where the passenger shared her experience while riding the vehicle operating along the Tagburos route in Puerto Princesa City.
According to the report, the woman, identified only as Princess, felt uncomfortable because of the audio being played during the trip. She also claimed that other passengers appeared uneasy, including several students who were inside the multicab at the time.
Public transportation is used daily by people from different age groups, including children, students, workers, and senior citizens. Because of this, many commuters expect a safe and comfortable environment during their travels.
Concerns about the content being played inside public vehicles often attract attention, especially when passengers believe it may not be suitable for everyone on board.
The complainant provided the plate number of the multicab, identified as VVB 971, and requested that the matter be looked into. She hopes the concern will be given proper attention to help ensure a more pleasant commuting experience for passengers.
The complaint has since sparked discussion among residents, with some pointing out the importance of being mindful of what is played inside public transport vehicles. Many believe that drivers and operators have a responsibility to maintain an environment that is respectful and appropriate for all passengers.
As of this writing, the driver and operator of the multicab have not yet released a statement regarding the complaint. Their side of the issue has also not been made public.
Meanwhile, the radio station that received the report has stated that it remains open to hearing the explanation of the driver.
