Class Suspension Declared In These Areas on Wednesday (December 4)
WALANG PASOK – Several local government units have declared class suspension in different areas due to Typhoon Tisoy.
Throughout this week, Typhoon Kammuri continues to affect the weather condition over some parts of the country. The typhoon is lashing the country with strong winds and heavy rain causing landslides and flooding in several areas.
Bagyong Tisoy was last spotted at 275 kilometers west-northwest of Calapan City, Oriental Mindoro with maximum sustained winds of 100 kilometers per hour and gustiness of up to 125 kph.
The state weather bureau PAGASA reported that Tisoy is 20 kph in a West-Northwest direction. Several areas are still under tropical cyclone wind signals due to inclement weather condition.
On Wednesday (December 4, 2019), several local government units have declared the suspension of classes in several areas due to the effect of Typhoon Tisoy. The cancellation of classes has been done to ensure the safety of the students.
