The bureau added that it was last seen at about 275 kilometers west northwest of the city of Calapan, Oriental Mindoro as of 4 AM.

According to ABS-CBN, it was packed with maximum sustained winds of about 100 kilometers per hour and gustiness of up to 125 kilometers per hour.

Tisoy is currently moving west northwest at about 20 kilometers per hour. It is expected to leave the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) between December 4 (Wednesday) night up to December 5 (Thursday) morning.

The bureau further added that Tisoy is predicted to further weaken due to amihan or the northeast monsoon that prevailed over Luzon.

Ilocos Region, Cagayan Valley, Cordillera Administrative Region and Aurora will face moderate with occasional heavy rains.

As the strongest typhoon, Tisoy, internationally called Kammuri, made landfall first over the Gubat, Sorsogon, then later made landfall over Burias Island and Torrijos in Marinduque; and the town of Najuan in Oriental Mindoro.

It took at least 2 lives and cancelled flights, government work, and classes in affected parts of the country.
