Latest Weather Updates Released by PAGASA

WEATHER UPDATE – The state weather bureau PAGASA released the latest updates regarding Tropical Depression Sarah.

On Saturday (November 23, 2019), the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration released the latest weather updates in the country. PAGASA said that Tropical Depression Sarah and the northeast monsoon would continue to affect the country’s weather condition.

PAGASA reported that Tropical Depression Sarah was last spotted at 630 kilometers northeast of Basco, Batanes. Sarah has maximum sustained winds of 55 kilometers per hour and gustiness of up to 70 kph.

Latest Weather Updates

The northeast monsoon would bring partly cloudy to cloudy conditions with isolated light rains over the northern and central Luzon particularly in Ilocos Region, Cordillera Administrative Region, and Cagayan Valley.

The localized thunderstorms would also bring partly cloudy to cloudy conditions with isolated rainshowers over Metro Manila and the rest of the country, according to the weather agency.

Meanwhile, the coastal water conditions over Luzon would be moderate to rough. Slight to moderate surrounding sea conditions are expected over the Visayas and the Mindanao.

PAGASA also advised the residents living in the areas affected by the localized thunderstorms to take precautionary measures for possible flash floods during severe thunderstorms.
