Lella is among the new PBB housemates, and Karla Estrada shows her support for her daughter.
Actress-host Karla Estrada has this to say after her daughter, Lella, made this emotional confession in PBB Celebrity Collab 2.0.
Joining the roster of Star Magic artists in the new edition of the Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Collab was Carmella, or Lella Ford. She is known as “Ang Blooming Bunso ng Tacloban.”
Many have recognized her as the youngest sister of Daniel Padilla, but on this opportunity, she is determined to make a name for herself. To recall, she signed with Star Magic on July 25, and with her in this milestone was her mother, Karla Estrada.
Recently, the former Magandang Buhay host reposted a clip of Lella inside the PBB. In the clip, Lella was seen emotional as she confessed to her fellow housemates how much she wanted to step out of the shadows of her family in the entertainment industry. She wanted to build her own name without being tagged to their success.
She wanted to be successful on her own talent.
“Ayoko lang na nasa shadow na lang ako lagi ng family ko,” Lella shared. For her, being in PBB was already something she considered as her own achievement.
In Karla’s post, she addressed this, and as a mother, she assured her that she will never just be a shadow, as she has her own light, and that someday, she is going to shine brighter.
“Kahit ano pa man anak ang gusto mo sa buhay ay never kang magiging shadow… lahat ay may sariling ilaw na someday ay mag bubukas at someday na yun anak ay ngayon na,” Karla wrote, and added, “We love and support at proud kami sayo palagi.”
