Last 2010, there was this interview with Matteo Guidicelli talking about how he admires Sarah Geronimo when performing and being the amazing person she in real life. Ever since, he is really into and a certified fan of the country’s Popstar Royalty. And he would always watch her perform and during one of her concerts as well where he met her formally and personally through Billy Crawford.
After meeting then, there were rumors that he tried to pursue her but Sarah was allegedly then involved to Rayver Cruz. And within those years, Matteo got into a relationship with Maja Salvador which eventually ended up with a break up while the singer got linked to Gerald Anderson but wasn’t able to push through because her parents were not in favor of him. And the time came as well that Maja and Gerald became a couple, however, did not ended up together as well.
And years after, Matteo and Sarah met again during the US tour of the latter. The romantic speculations about them ignited again and nearly a year of officially being together as a couple, Sarah, during an interview, admitted their relationship to the shock of Matteo who was unaware that his girlfriend is going to do it. It was in 2014 when their relationship was confirmed.
And appearing in the now defunct show The Buzz following their confirmation, these are the lines that Matteo said that have become remarkable to many people:
“My family loves Sarah. I love her a lot and i’ll do whatever it takes. This girl… this woman, she’s worth everything. It’s not because of who she is, Sarah Geronimo. It’s not that eh. It’s that person who she really is outside the camera, when we’re together without the makeup and everything. She’s very true. I don’t think I can find anybody like this person. I don’t want to lose this one.”
