MMDA – Coding Lifted For All Vehicles On October 31 (Thursday)

MMDA – The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA), recently lifted the number coding scheme on all types of vehicles this October 31.

The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority recently posted their advisory on Twitter about the suspension. The lifting of the number coding system already started at about 12 noon to all private and public vehicles.

According to GMA News, the agency erlier declared that the number coding scheme will also be lifted on all types of vehicles, which will begin on the holiday November 1 (Friday).

Provincial buses are also allowed in the streets on October 31 (Thursday) until November 4 (Monday).

As per the report, the lifting of the number coding scheme is to accommodate a huge number of travelers going to and fro the city and the provinces during the holiday.

Weeks ago, the agency’s spokesperson filed a complaint against a Facebook page for posting a photo of her with the caption “MMDA sa commuters: Kung nahihirapan sumakay, ‘wag na lang pumasok.”

She explained that this will affect her and her performance in a way that this begets bias from the people of the country which will believe that she said those statements, albeit a total lie.
