AMY PEREZ – It’s Showtime host Amy Perez said she suffered severe diarrhea due to food poisoning.
Filipina tv and radio presenter Amy Perez is one of the hosts of ABS-CBN’s noontime variety show ‘It’s Showtime.’ She has been on the show for a while now hosting alongside Vice Ganda, Anne Curtis, Vhong Navarro, and Karylle among others.
The most awaited event every year is the program’s “Magpasikat.” The host showcases their talents for the madling people and their prize will go to their chosen charity. The show is currently celebrating its 10th anniversary.

The Kapamilya host took to social media to inform her fans that she was rushed to the hospital on Wednesday morning. She said she has been vomiting and had acute diarrhea.
On Friday, October 25, Amy Perez Tweeted again regarding her state. She clarified some details about her hospitalization. The host said the yoga routine she did for the show was not the reason why she got hospitalized.
Amy said she has been doing that during her exercise and Pilates. After their performance, she ate something that caused her vomiting and diarrhea that’s why she was brought to the hospital.
