PAGASA – Bulaoi Will Not Directly Affect Philippines

PAGASA – Weather bureau PAGASA said that Bulaoi will not bring a direct effect on the Philippines and is moving towards Japan.

The bureau ‘s weather specialist Meno Mendoza added that as of 5 AM, the typhoon was last spotted at about 2, 265 kilometers east of north Luzon. It is currently packed with maximum sustained winds of 185 kilometers per hour and 230 kilometers per hour of gustiness.

According to ABS-CBN, the typhoon, which formed an eye and could possibly dump rains, is less likely to enter the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR).

A low pressure area, on the other hand, is seen at about 1,320 kilometers east of north Luzon. It is expected to dissolve on Friday (October 25).

As per the report, the northeasterly surface windflow, on the other hand, will continue to prevail over Luzon. The following areas will face partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains due to the windflow:

  • Ilocos Region
  • Cordillera Administrative Region
  • Cagayan Valley

As for Metro Manila and the rest of the country, they will face fair weather with instances of isolated rains.
