Latest Weather Updates in PH Released by PAGASA

The state weather bureau PAGASA released the latest weather updates in the Philippines on Saturday (October 12, 2019).

The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) reported that the northeasterly surface windflow, northwesterly and southwesterly winds convergence would affect the weather condition in the country.

PAGASA said that northeasterly surface windflow will prevail over Luzon while northwesterly and southwesterly winds convergence would bring cloudy weather condition with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms over Mindanao.

The localized thunderstorms would also bring partly cloudy to cloudy conditions with isolated rainshowers over the Metro Manila and the rest of the country, according to the weather bureau.

The weather agency has also advised the residents in the affected areas to take precautionary measures for possible flashfloods and landslides during severe thunderstorms.

Meanwhile, the surrounding sea conditions over the northern Luzon and the eastern section of Central Luzon would be rough. Visayas and the rest of Luzon as well as Mindanao would have slight to moderate coastal waters, PAGASA says.
