Anne Curtis Reveals Why She Is Keeping Her Health Struggle Private
ANNE CURTIS – After catching the attention of netizens because of a noticeable lump on her neck, Anne Curtis has given fans an update about her condition.
Kapamilya star Anne Curtis has addressed concerns about her health after some netizens noticed what appeared to be a lump on her neck in photos and videos shared online. While the actress admitted that she is not comfortable discussing the personal matter publicly, she assured her fans and those who expressed concern that she is doing well.
“It is not something I would like to talk about. I would like to keep things I am going through privately. But to anyone concerned I am doing OK,” Anne said in an interview, as reported by ABS-CBN.
Anne emphasized that she prefers to keep certain aspects of her personal life private, particularly matters involving her health. Despite this, she took the opportunity to remind the public about the importance of paying attention to their bodies and making health a priority.
For the actress, regular medical checkups are an important part of maintaining good health, especially as a person gets older.
“It is is very important you listen to your body. If there is anything I want to share, when you reach a certain age, do executive checkups and invest in your health,” she said.
Anne also revealed that she undergoes medical checkups every year. In fact, she started having regular examinations earlier than the age commonly recommended for people to begin routine executive checkups.
“Yearly I get checkups. It is important. We say mag-start at 40 but I have been doing it since my thirties,” she said.
Her statement comes as fans continue to show concern and support for the actress. Rather than going into details about the health issue, Anne chose to reassure everyone that she is doing OK while encouraging others to take their own health seriously.
Meanwhile, Anne is expected to remain busy with several upcoming projects. She will headline the Netflix Original Series “BuyBust: The Undesirables,” adding another major project to her growing list of acting commitments.
Aside from the series, the “It’s Showtime” host is also set to appear in three upcoming films, keeping her schedule packed with work in the entertainment industry.
