Customer Expresses Disappointment Towards McDonald’s Branch in Silay, Negros Occidental For Charging P1/ Cup of Water

A disappointed customer expressed his dismay towards a McDonald’s Branch in Silay, Negros Occidental that charges P1 per cup of water.

The fast-food chains have been very popular all around the world because of their delicious yet affordable meals. Many people love to eat on their favorite fast-food chains during their leisure time.

Most food establishments is offering free drinking water for their customers as a part of their good and quality service to customers. However, there are some businesses that charges a certain amount of cash for their specific service.

Recently, a Facebook user named Tune Guanzon has expressed his disappointment towards the branch of McDonald’s at Silay, Negros Occidental for charging customers with P1 per cup of water.

In the video, it can be seen that the male customer is expressing his disappointment towards the fast-food chain for charging them P1 per cup of water although it was totally free in other McDonald’s branches.

The security guard tried to stop the customer but he continued to film the incident until the manager arrives. Eventually, the store manager peacefully settled the issue and gave them free water.

“Hello mga kameme this is my experienced in Newly open fast food in Silay, All I ask is a glass of water for I know it is a mandatory sa isa ka restaurant to provide water sa customer for free ang cup nila is 1 peso so meaning if wala kana palang pera kawawa ka manogas ka pano yung mga customer na ginasalamokan na why they will not provide glass and pitcher of water in one side of the area where customer can get free water just like what other fast food restaurants doing now if you want to take it out well 1 peso of cup is not a problem pero helo dine in kami kailangan nila mag provide sa customer nila nang water to drink for free! Specially ako D pwede mag inom nang Soda due to my illness so kailangan ko talaga nang water man Lang. I am hoping that this will reach the admin of the said newly open establishment in Silay and manong guard wala Kang right na batokan at almost hinigaran mopa nang baril it is our right our freedom of expression and netizen should know! The more people will know the better to change this system that they currently have ! Silaynon move power we can always make a difference mga kameme mag isa tayo!”
