Jaya explained why she gonged Shirley Fuentes in Tawag Ng Tanghalan.
TAWAG NG TANGHALAN – The “Punong Hurado” Jaya gonged singer Shirley Fuentes in Showtime’s Tawag Ng Tanghalan Celebrity Champions edition.
The season 3 of the “Tawag Ng Tanghalan” just recently concluded with Elaine Duran as the grand champion. And currently, it is time of the famous personalities to face the gong. The current edition is call Celebrity Champions.
And yesterday, with judges such as Kyla, K Brosas, Randy Santiago, Jed Madela, and Punong Hurado Jaya, the contestants were: Shirley Fuentes, Chard Ocampo, Justin Alba, and Niel Murillo.
However, the first contestant Shirley Fuentes, a couple of minutes of performing, received a gong which made her stop from singing. She was formerly among the artists of “That’s Entertainment”. She is the first celebrity contestant to receive that as she sang “Luha” of Aegis.
“Siguro this is not a song na kinakanta mo, or hindi lang nagtugma ‘yung kinakanta mo doon sa inensayo niyo kanina. Sorry talaga pero kinailangan kita i-gong kasi talagang nagkamali ka doon sa mga parteng narinig namin,” explained Punong Hurado Jaya. She furthered that they all know how great she is as a singer only that she made a fault at that time in her singing. There was even an instance when she forgot a word from the lyrics.
