StarStruck Finalist Lexi Gonzales Admits Asking Isko Moreno’s Help
ISKO MORENO – StarStruck finalist Lexi Gonzales admitted that she asked for the help of Manila Mayor Isko Moreno.
The well-known politician, Francisco “Isko Moreno” Domagoso, was an actor and part became part of German Moreno’s variety show. In 2015, he returned to acting as a kind-hearted priest in the tv program ‘Mga Anghel na Walang Langit.’
Isko is now the mayor of the city of Manila. After being hailed as the city’s new chief executive, he made lots of positive changes. Among them are the clearing operations, strict implementation of the ordinance, and jobs for PWD and senior citizens.
Isko Moreno’s achievements were lauded by his people and several politicians like Senators Manny Pacquiao, Ping Lacson, and President Rodrigo Roa Duterte. In a previous article, the president said the younger politician is better than him.
The 44-year-old mayor responded to Duterte’s compliments saying he’s the one who inspires him to become a great leader. Isko witnessed how the former Davao City mayor managed his city.
Based on a report from PEP, Isko Moreno was helping one of the finalist of Kapuso’s reality talent competition, StarStuck. Finalist Lexi Gonzales admitted that the mayor helped her in her journey.
“Yung pagbisita ko po kay Mayor Isko para po i-promote niya ako sa mga taga-Maynila,” said Gonzales
According to the report, the 19-year-old StarStruck finalist from Sampaloc, Manila shared that she paid a visit to the mayor’s office to ask for their support. She also asked Isko to help her promote in the city since she is not well-known yet.
“Siyempre, mayor po namin siya kaya sabi ko, baka puwede akong humingi ng suporta mula kay Mayor para i-promote niya ako sa mga taga-City Hall… sabi naman po nila, ‘Sige, ikakampanya ka namin,’ kasi hindi naman po ako kilala sa Maynila,” said Lexi.
Based on the report, Lexi vowed to return the favor to all the people who supported her in her journey to stardom. The live broadcast announcement for the Ultimate Male & Female Survivors will be this coming Sunday, September 15.
