Duterte Praises Manila Mayor Isko Moreno
DUTERTE – Filipino politician Rodrigo Roa Duterte admitted that Manila Mayor Francisco “Isko Moreno” is better than him.
Davaoeño politician Rodrigo Roa Duterte is the 16th and current president of the Republic of the Philippines. He is currently in the first half of his6-years term.
The 74-year-old politician has made several changes in the country. In a previous article, Duterte delivered the accomplishment of his administration.
During his 4th State of the Nation Address, President Rodrigo Duterte promised to eradicate corruption in the government and reduce poverty in the country. He wishes to achieve that before his term ends.
While he’s busy fixing some of the country’s problems, some politicians are showing off their impressive way of governing their towns or cities like Mayors Vico Sotto and Isko Moreno. These two are the most admired politicians today. In fact, Sen. Ping Lacson expressed that politicians like Moreno made him think about retiring soon.
Recently, President Rodrigo Duterte expressed his admiration for Isko Moreno for the effort to clean up, introduce new programs, and strictly implement ordinances in the city of Manila. The president said that during the oath-taking of Malacañang Cameramen Association, Malacañang Press Corps, and Presidential Photojournalists Association. The video was uploaded on the Youtube Channel of UNTV.
The president admitted that the 44-year-old Manila Mayor is better than him. “Mas mahusay siya kaysa ako, sa totoo lang, Oo, may nakita ako na mas mahusay ang resolve niya kaysa akin. Plus two ako sa kanya,” he said.
