LPA To Affect Eastern Visayas & Mindanao, PAGASA Says

The state weather bureau PAGASA reported that the trough of the low-pressure area would affect the weather condition over Eastern Visayas and Mindanao.

On Friday (July 12, 2019), the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) released the latest weather updates.

PAGASA reported that the low-pressure area and the southwest monsoon would affect the weather condition over some parts of the country.

The LPA’s trough would bring cloudy weather with isolated rain showers and thunderstorms over Mindanao and the Eastern Visayas.

The southwest monsoon would continue to affect the weather condition over extreme northerm Luzon.

The localized thunderstorms would bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers Metro Manila and the rest of the country.

The weather agency also advised the public to take precautionary measures for possible flashfloods and landslides during severe thunderstorms.

Meanwhile, the coastal water conditions over the northern and western sections of northern Luzon as well as the rest of the country would be slight to moderate, according to the weather bureau.
