ITCZ To Bring Rains Over Parts of PH, PAGASA Says

The state weather bureau PAGASA reported that the Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) would bring rains over some parts of the Philippines.

On Thursday (July 11, 2019), the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) released the latest weather updates in the country.

PAGASA said that the ITCZ would bring cloudy conditions and scattered rains over parts of southern Mindanao including Zamboanga Peninsula, Bangsamoro, SOCCSKSARGEN, and Davao Region.

The southwest monsoon would also affect the weather condition over the extreme Northern Luzon.

The localized thunderstorms would bring partly cloudy to cloudy conditions with isolated rainshowers over Metro Manila and the rest of the country.

Meanwhile, the coastal water conditions over the northern and western sections of northern Luzon would be moderate to rough.

The weather agency warned the public of possible flashfloods and landslides during severe thunderstorms.

Slight to moderate surrounding sea conditions are expected over the remaining parts of the country, according to the weather bureau.
