Facebook called these users as “walker” or online intercourse worker and “taker for the person who is willing to pay the “walker.” Rachel uploads daring photos of her and informs her page visitors that she’s available for intercourse in exchange of money.

She started selling herself online last year and disclosed that she usually get 7 customers per day.

According to the report, the medical officer of Vicente Sotto Memorial Medical Center’s department of psychiatry, Dr. Fred Tampus, revealed the reason why lots of people even the young engage in this kind of activity.

“They could do it in the comfort room of their home, in an internet shop or anywhere that has Wi-Fi access. Social media could reach a very wide range of the market and internationally at that,” said Tampus.

The doctor also gave an advice on how to protect their children from doing this.

“Parents, as should be, have a very important role. How the personality, including the values of these people, develops would depend on how they were raised. After which, education will then have an important supporting role,” he added.

Based on the report, the authorities find it difficult to file crime to the “walker and “taker” since there are no complaints and they’re both adults.

They can’t also establish who the victim is since it was confined in a private room.
