It was an accident that could have been prevented says the Megastar Sharon Cuneta.
SHARON CUNETA – The Megastar Sharon Cuneta, grieving over Eddie Garcia’s untimely death, vents down angrily as it was caused by an accident that could have been prevented.
The whole country is mourning over loss of another legend in the entertainment industry. Eddie Garcia, before taken by the Lord to rest in heaven with Him, suffered a neck fracture from an accident during a shooting. He fell into a comatose state until his body gave up.
He got cremated and based on a previous report, his stepson Mikee shared before he got cremated that they gave him a standing ovation and shouted “Bravo” for the last time and at 3:20 am, the ashes of the actor was handed to them.
And the Megastar Sharon Cuneta, who is among the closest to the late veteran actor and have worked with him, angrily vented down on her social media account saying that it was an accident that could have been prevented.
The Megastar wrote, “HE SHOULD HAVE NOT DIED YET. HAD THERE BEEN NO NEGLECT OF SAFETY FOR THE ACTORS, HE WOULD HAVE LIVED TO MORE THAN 100…!!! I have had not only a professional relationship but a personal one with him as well. I grew up under his tutelage and he means so much to me. Sorry if I’m venting but this was totally unavoidable. Especially for an actor who was 90 years old… It is a matter of a few people who failed to be 100% careful and were negligent. I do not mean to say a whole organization or station to be blamed – this is an issue I do not wish to be involved with buy for his family and co-workers on that day to debate on and argue about. But I AM ANGRY BECAUSE THIS COULD HAVE BEEN AVOIDED.”
