Millions of Filipino hearts are in grief after the veteran actor Eddie Garcia died yesterday at the Makati Medical Center.
The 90-year-old actor was confined on that hospital for 12 days after tripping on a cable wire while taping for his tv series Rosang Agimat.
In a previous article, the Malacañang Palace gave a statement over the death of the veteran action star.
Presidential spokesperson Salvador Panelo said Tito Eddie left an “indelible mark” in the Filipino hearts and minds.
Several of his fellow celebrities expressed their grief over the death of the award-winning actor. Among them are Dawn Zulueta, Charo Santos, Vilma Santos, and Agot Isidro among others.
On the other hand, lots of netizens believed that Eddie Garcia was making his presence felt during the taping of FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano yesterday.
Among the most enduring superstitious belief or “pamahiin” of the Filipino people is that the visitation of butterflies are a sign that their dead relative or friend are making their presence felt.
The special moment was caught on camera and was uploaded on the Instagram account of Yassi Pressman.
In the caption of the post, Yassi Pressman said the butterfly never leave their set. It can be seen on the video that she was shocked after seeing the beautiful insect.
