Robin Padilla Express Support for Duterte’s Statements on China-PH Ship Incident
ROBIN PADILLA – Action star Robin Padilla expressed his support for President Duterte’s statement in China ship incident.
On June 17, Philippine president Rodrigo Duterte said the fishing boat collision at the Reed Bank was a “little maritime accident” during his speech at the Philippine Nany 121st anniversary.
The chief executive disregards the claims of the Filipino fisherman saying their fishing vessel was “intentionally” hit by the Chinese trawler.
President Duterte received lots of criticism about his reaction to the incident at the disputed waters.
Among the people who reacted on the president’s statement is the action star Robin Padilla.
Robin Padilla took to the social media to express his support for Duterte’s statements on the issue.
“Sinabi ng ating mahal na pangulo na hindi yun dahilan para tayo ay makipag-giyera sa China at tayo’y matunaw na…”
“Kaya napakasensitibo po yan na topic, mahirap po diyan na nagmamatapang tayo at idadamay natin ang buong bayan,” he said.
The veteran actor advised the Filipino people not to make the issue worse. He suggested the brave Pinoy to go there without dragging the Filipino Army into it.
“Wag nalang ho natin palakihin. Siguro katulad ho ng sinasabi ko nung araw, kung sino yung matatapang, eh sila nalang yung pumunta dun…”
“Wag na natin idamay pa yung Armed Forces, yung Pilipinas. Sarili nalang ninyong sikap kung talagang matapang kayo, edi patunayan niyo dun,” he added.
Robin Padilla said the country would be defeated in less than a day if they will go to war against China.
“Hindi ho tayo tatagal ng isang araw kapag tayo ay nakipag giyera sa China… kawawa naman ho yung mga kabataan natin diyan.”
“Tayo ho dapat lalaban lang tayo pagka ininvade na tayo, yung pagsinabing conventional warfare, diyan pwede natin ilabas ang tapang natin diyan,” he added.

The actor believed that the young Filipino children will be the ones affected the most if the Philippine goes to war against China.
