College Student in Ilocos Norte Wears Raincoat During Graduation Ceremony
The college student who is wearing a raincoat during his graduation rites goes viral and received praises from the online community.
A Facebook user name Cha Chi Lian Edra has shared the video footage of a college student wearing a raincoat during his graduation.
Renz Hover Pagtey of Ilocos Norte caught the attention of netizens for wearing a raincoat after the rain pours down during the graduation ceremony.
Around 2,000 students attended the graduation ceremony at the Mariano Marcos State University in Ilocos Norte.
Pagtey explained that he decided to bring his raincoat due to the inclement weather condition and usually brings food and rosary on his bag.
“Nakita ko kasi na maulan kaya wala namang masama kung magdadala ako ng kapote, Hindi natin kasi alam kung ano ang mangyayari sa mga darating na araw,” Pagtey said.
The 23-year-old student revealed that his Tatay Ernesto, a retired soldier taught him to be always prepared and practice discipline.
The latter earned a degree in Bachelor of Science in Industrial Technology.
