3 New Deputy Commissioners of Bureau of Customs Appointed by Pres. Duterte

DUTERTE – President Rodrigo Roa Duterte appointed three(3) new deputy commissioners of the Bureau of Customs (BOC).

Recently, several positions in the government agencies were occupied by certain individuals. An official may be appointed by the President to take a certain post.

Among those government agencies with new persons in certain positions is the Bureau of Customs (BOC).

Based on a recent report on ABS-CBN News, Pres. Rodrigo Roa Duterte has appointed three(3) new deputy commissioners of the Bureau of Customs (BOC).

The new Customs deputy chiefs are Raniel Ramiro, Donato Belmonte San Juan, and Vener Sia Baquiran. It was reportedly on March 6 of this year when the President signed their appointment papers.

According to the report, Vener Sia Baquiran is a former district collector at the Manila International Container Port while the two(2) other appointees were in then different posts in the Customs.

Former Brigadier General Raniel Ramiro served as the acting head of the Intelligence Group of the BOC while Donato Belmonte San Juan was the BOC Internal Administration Group’s deputy chief.

Also, the retired lieutenant general has an experience of leading the Philippine Military Academy (PMA) before he took a post at the BOC.
