What can you say about Julia Barretto as “Darna”?

JULIA BARRETTO – The Kapamilya actress Julia Barretto talks about “Darna” and her audition in a video which was accordingly not taken seriously.

In a previous article, after the news about Liza Soberano who backed out to play the “Darna” role due to finger injury has hit the headlines online, a video of Julia Barretto gracing the audition emerged and went viral. Seemingly everything was a joke.

See below:

The panel have not taken her seriously but in an interview, she indicated that she was actually serious about it and if given the chance and the invitation to a serious audition for the role, she had positively responded and definitely said yes as it will accordingly be worth a try.

She said, “Real talk, I really went. Kasi akala ko game. Kasi nakita ko may pila talaga Tito Boy at saka camera. All the works for an audition. So, I went there. I was ready to be asked questions and to shout it if asked or hubad if they needed. Okay lang… But they were laughing siguro they thought I was joking.”

Here are some of the comments of the netizens from the post:

Julia is like a Pinay version of gal gadot. Julia’s a natural. Abs-cbn should give her Darna.

Maganda c Julia. Yan ang challenge s Kanya coz her beauty is same as her mother at that age. Beauty na bagay as kontrabida and May aura sya na suplada snobby and aristocratic.

I use you not be a fan .but every time I listen to her..shes very mature & she seems very intelligent.. I admire that…
