Bong Revilla, Imee Marcos Call on Critics to Stop the Hate
BONG REVILLA – Politicians Bong Revilla and Imee Marcos gave a message to their bashers.
Filipino politicians Bong Revilla and Imee Marcos are considered one of the most controversial senatorial candidates.
Imee’s father Ferdinand Marcos ruled the whole country as a dictator under martial law.
Due to his actions, lots of Filipino people loathed the late president and some of his family for it.
Bong Revilla was also accused of plunder through the pork barrel scam led by Janet Lim-Napoles.
On December 2018, the politician’s case was acquitted by the Sandigan Bayan but was ordered to return the P124 million public funds.
Based on the latest partial and unofficial tally of votes, it seems Bong Revilla and Imee Marcos made it to the ‘Magic 12.’
The leading winners include Cynthia Villar with 25,283,727, Grace Poe with 22,029,788 votes and Bong Go with 20,657,702 votes.
Imee Marcos got 15,882,628 while Bong Revilla gathered 14,624,445 votes.
Following a previous article, the proclamation of the winning senators and party-list was postponed.
The proclamation will be held at the Philippine International Convention Center.
Imee Marcos and Bong Revilla went to the venue before the proclamation, both of them asked their bashers to stop criticizing them.
“Sa bashers, haters, mga galit sa amin. Hindi naman ako mapanghiganti,” said Imee.

Bong also asked the people to stop throwing criticism against him and just focus on building a better country.
“Sana naman matigil na ang pambabatikos at tayo’y magsama-sama para sa bayan,” he said.
