CATRIONA GRAY – Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray got the rare chance to be interviewed by super model Tyra Banks for the V Magazine.
The crowned Miss Universe 2018 is the Philippines very own Catriona Gray. She brought the fourth crown from this prestigious pageant for the country. After winning, the Pinay beauty queen became so busy and even had load of works to which most of it and the demands of it required her to stay abroad.
She also had this magnificent rice mural in Nueva Ecija to which the rice paddy was transformed by creative farmers. Accordingly, it started last March 14, 2019, which took 50 people to possibly create such masterpiece.
And now, opportunities are coming to the beauty queen’s way. And just recently, she shared that she got the chance to be featured in V Magazine interviewed by international personality and catwalk superstar Tyra Banks who was then so impressed with her Lava walk.
On Instagram, Gray initially shared, “Definitely a pinch-me moment! 😭😍 Interviewed for [V Magazine] #V119 by [Tyra Banks] for their May 2019.”
Moreover, “Speaking with [Tyra Banks], (once I overcame my major fan-girling) she resonated as such a humble and empowering woman to me. She shared with me her term #Flawsome – seeing perceived flaws as beauty, uniqueness and strength.”
Supermodel Tyra Banks built a career in the modelling industry merely at the age of 17. At the beginning of her career, a feat for a newcomer, she was able to book 25 runway shows while in Paris in 1991. She is also one of the most famous angels of “Victoria’s Secret”, the first black woman to appear on the cover of GQ, Sports Illustrated swimsuit edition, and many more.
