The intensity V was felt in Catbalogan City, Samar and Tacloban City. Intensity IV was felt in Sorsogon City Masbate City, and Legaspi City.
Based on the photos shared by CNN on its Twitter page, the 6.2 magnitude earthquake that hit the Visayas caused some damages on the provincial road.
In Catbalogan City, a city hall in Samar suffered damages after the strong quake. It can be seen that tiles were removed from the wall.
Students and teachers in a school in Tanauan, Leyte were immediately requested to evacuate the building.
The mall-goers were also quick to evacuate SM Legazpi, Albay after the strong shake.
CNN also shared photos of a residential home in Tinambacan, Calbayog City, Samar was also affected by the Visayas earthquake.
