List of CHED Scholarship Benefits Under “StuFAPs”
CHED SCHOLARSHIP BENEFITS – Here is the list of the financial benefits under the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) Student Financial Assistance or StuFAPs.
The government is doing its best to help the Filipino students finish their studies and reach their goals in life. It is not only through free education in public elementary, secondary, and college institutions but as well as through scholarships.
The Commission on Higher Education or more commonly called as CHED is one of those government agencies offering financial assistance to the Filipino students. It is through the Student Financial Assistance or StuFAPs.
Currently, the application for StuFAPs is ongoing and the deadline of submission of applications is on April 30, 2019. Here is the list of the eligibility qualifications set by CHED on StuFAPs:
- a Filipino citizen
- a candidate for graduation / a high school graduate / an individual with earned units in the tertiary education / an Alternative Learning System (ALS) passer / a Philippine Educational Placement Test (PEPT) passer
- parents’ annual gross income is not above Php 300,000.00
- not a graduate of any course or degree
Based on the information posted on the official website of CHED, the criteria for the selection are academic performance and annual gross income of parents.
With regards to the CHED scholarship benefits, here is a list of the financial benefits per school year:
Scholarship
A. SSP
- Full – Php 30,000.00
- Partial – Php 15,000.00
B. Grants-in-Aid
- Tulong Dunong per academic year based on tuition and other fees of HEIs – Php 6,000.00 | Php 9,000.00 | Php 12,000.00
C. Study Now Pay Later Plan
- Php 15,000.00

Kaylan po ba malalaman Kung nakapasa po sa ched scholarship salamat.
I would like to know if a student is under the StuFAPs and then she didn’t continue her study are she going to pay the amount in the school where she is enrolled.
Please help me, I not knowledgeable about this StuFAPs. My daughter is enrolled and she was under StuFAPs but she didn’t finish her study in that semester but I was surprised when the school is asking me to pay the whole amount. Please help me. Thank you.
