Kris Aquino spokesperson shares update after Falcis received warrant of arrest.
KRIS AQUINO SPOKESPERSON – The legal spokesperson of celebrity and entrepreneur Kris Aquino speaks about filed cases versus Nicko Falcis.
Previously, arrest warrant issued versus Nicko Falcis hit the online news headlines after the Taguig City fiscal dismissed the qualified theft complaint but found probable cause to charge him in court with Estafa and Credit Card Fraud.
“The arrest warrant was served upon Mr. Falcis at his given address in Quezon City, which he claimed in his sworn counter-affidavit as his residential address. When the police arrived, he was not there, and his family and his brother claimed to not know his whereabouts,” meanwhile, the press statement for Kris Aquino has stated.
With this issues over their legal battle, Falcis remained to be at large and was not able to appear in hearing of the criminal cases filed against him.
In an Instagram post, Atty Enrique dela Cruz, senior partner at DIVINA LAW, her legal spokesperson, has said:
“Sa ngayon po, ang aking update para sa inyo meron pong dalawang kaso, criminal cases filed against Mr. Nicko Falcis kung saan meron pong standing warrants of arrest against him. Una ay para sa kaso ng Credit Card fraud sa RTC ng Taguig at isa naman para sa Estafa sa Metropolitian Trial Court also in Taguig. Nag-file ng motion for re-investigation sa parehong kaso si Mr. Nicko Falcis, ang hearing po ay today pero hindi rin po siya um-attend. Hindi rin po nagpakita sa korte. Kaya po sa MTC, sabi ng korte, denied ang kanyang kahilingan na re-investigation. Kailangang sumuko muna siya at mag-piyansa.”

He also stressed that it is just easy to bail out as both cases filed were bailable and they are now just waiting a response from the other camp.
