Here’s Winwyn Marquez reasons behind why she can’t join BBP 2019.

WINWYN MARQUEZ REASONS – The Miss Reina Hispanoamericana 2017 Winwyn Marquez shared reasons why she cannot join Binibining Pilipinas 2019.

Miss Reina Hispanoamericana 2017 is Winwyn Marquez who happens to also be the first Pinay beauty queen to snatch the crown. With her victory, she stated that she joined without any expectations. She just gave her best.

The beauty queen further added overwhelmed for winning the international crown, “I’m going to perform and I’m going to show people na I can answer well, that I’m ready. So God’s will siguro talaga. Sobrang overwhelmed.”

And now, after Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach has said that she is a “Miss U material”, beauty pageant enthusiasts and her fans started to encourage her to join this year’s Binibining Pilipinas.

But in a previous article, she said that she can still joined as she indicated, “I can still join, I think, if ever hindi ako sumali (this year)… I think tumaas na yung age bracket ng Miss Universe to 28 if I’m not mistaken? Supranational is also 28, so I think puwede pa.”

And just recently, Marquez broken her silence regarding the matter stating her reasons why she can’t join the pageant for this year through an Instagram post.

These are her stated reasons why:

  • BBP has strict rules that a candidate should not have existing contracts when joining.
  • She has work commitments and upcoming projects lined up with her current network.

She further stated that one can definitely be not on their best fit if they are focusing on many things. The focus should only be on one single thing in order to succeed. She said, “Now, I’d like to focus on improving my craft and to continue building on my community engagement program for children in local communities.”
