WINWYN MARQUEZ – Miss Reina Hispanoamericana 2017 Winwyn Marquez’s glorious moment as she marked history as the first ever Filipina to win the crown.
As per the previous report, Winwyn Marquez is the first ever Pinay to join the Miss Reina Hispanoamericana 2017.
And the beauty queen has indeed marked the history of the pageantry as she bagged the crown despite being the first at considerably in most aspects of the competition.
The competition was held in Bolivia on November 4.
And as she had promised to do the best, she definitely did as she bested out other aspiring beauty queens coming from different countries vying for the crown and the title.
She has accordingly stated, “I joined the pageant not expecting anything. Sabi ko I’m going to enjoy. I’m going to show people what I’ve got. I’m going to perform and I’m going to show people na I can answer well, that I’m ready. So God’s will siguro talaga. Sobrang overwhelmed.”

She was asked, “How would you promote Hispanic-American culture with great difficulty or barrier of language.
And through the translator, here is her full answer:
“Language can be learned, but the will and determination to contribute something to the organization cannot. It has come from the heart and it has to be natural. I believe that kindness is a universal language — that if you treat people with tolerance, patience, and love, you will understand each other. Hispanic culture is not about language only, it’s about love for family. As a filipina with unique heritage, I am ready to promote Hispanic culture, not just in asia, but in the whole world. It is time to celebrate the hispanic culture. It is meant to be celebrated.”
