Here are your Idol Philippines judges.
IDOL PHILIPPINES JUDGES – The judges for the much-awaited “Idol Philippines” in ABS-CBN are finally revealed and netizens have mixed reactions to it.
Among the local reality singing competitions are Pinoy Dream Academy and The Voice Philippines. And now, another one is coming and that is Idol Philippines, the local franchise of the international competition “Idol” of Simon Fuller.
Auditions have already started and the auditionees are required to bring downloaded minus one on their mobile phones, 1 Tagalong song and 1 English song and they will only accept aspiring singers who are 16-28 years old.
Upon transferring to the Kapamilya network, it has been reported that one of the judges will be the Asia’s Songbird Regine Velasquez. So, who will be the other judges?
As reported by ABS-CBN, the other judges who will join Regine in search for a new singing idol are Moira Dela Torre, James Reid, and Vice Ganda. The show will be hosted by Billy Crawford.
In judging, Regine expressed that she wanted to be honest as much as possible. She said, “I wanna be honest because I want them to improve… Mahirap kasi when you say ‘no’ to a contestant, it’s like you ruining their dreams.”
While Vice Ganda and James Reid were initially shock for being a part of the panel of judges. And the former contestant from “The Voice of the Philippines” now a hit-maker, Moira, has indicated, “Sobrang excited po ako kasi as a person coming from a singing contest also. I can empathize.”
The “Idol Philippines” will hit the televisions really soon.
