Geraldine Schaer Bonnevie or commonly known as Dina Bonnevie is one of the award-winning actresses in the Philippines.
The actress’ mother is a Swiss named Jeannette Schaer while her father is a French-Italian-Filipino named Honesto Bonnevie. No doubt, the actress is considered one of the most beautiful faces in the entertainment industry.
Based on a report from Pinoy Patrol Online, when Dina Bonnevie was just a student, she join drama guilds until she was introduced by her friend named Alfie Anido to a movie director.
The actress’ movie in the ’80s titled “Underage” was directed by Direk Joey Gosiengfiao. From then on, she rose to fame and starred in the movie “Temptation Island.”
According to the report, Dina Bonnevie’s biggest break in the show business was when she was given a lead role on the film “Katorse” alongside actors Alfie Anido and Gabby Concepcion. After the film, she was tagged as one of the “Regal Babies.”
The actress then received numerous movie offers. Aside from her gorgeous face, the Filipino people also admired her excellent talent in acting.
Based on the report, several award-giving bodies such as Catholic Mass Media Awards, Filipino Academy of Movie Arts and Sciences (FAMAS), Gawad Urian, and Film Academy of the Philippines (FAP) gave recognition to Dina Bonnevie.
A lot of young actress definitely look-up to the nationally renowned actress considering she has starred more than 60 films.
