Vice Ganda mentioned the name of Vice Sotto during his Valentine concert with Regine Velasquez due to this reason.
It is not the first time that the Kapamilya comedian-host mentioned the name of the stars from Eat Bulaga, the rival show of It’s Showtime.
Previously, he mentioned the name of Alden Richards saying that a contestant is a look-alike of the Pambansang Bae.
There was also an instance that the comedian mentioned the name of Phenomenal Star Maine Mendoza.
He even mentioned their love team, AlDub, during a certain conversation with co-host Vhong Navarro.
Just recently, during The Songbird and the Songhorse concert, Vice Ganda mentioned another name from Eat Bulaga – Vic Sotto.
Based on the report from PEP, it all happened when he asked Anton Diva to join him and Regine Velasquez for their performance of the song Shine.
The said song is memorable for Vice and Anton because they frequently sang it during their stints in comedy bars. They are the self-confessed fan of the Songbird.
At one point, Anton asked for water. However, Vice drank first from the bottled water before he gave to Anton.
“Para tayong naglaplapan nito,” Anton said jokingly.
The Kapamilya comedian answered this with, “Nangyari na yun dati sa Puerto Galera. Dati, nung short hair, ang gwapo niya! Kamukha niya si Vic Sotto!”
He also mentioned the former wife of the Kapuso star, based on the article.
“Feeling ko dati, si Dina Bonnevie ako,” Vice Ganda added.
