Vice Ganda debunked speculated rift with Kim Chiu
Many netizens assumed that Unkabogable Star Vice Ganda and actress Kim Chiu were feuding after they “exchanged words” yesterday, July 21, on X, formerly Twitter.
Kim’s supporters questioned Vice for allegedly failing to thank her It’s Showtime co-host during the FAMAS Broadcast Arts Awards held last Monday at the Manila Hotel.
The Kapamilya noontime show won Best Variety Show, and Vice accepted the trophy; however, in the acceptance speech, Kim’s name was not mentioned.
Consequently, fans of the actress called out Vice Ganda, stating that it was strange that among It’s Showtime hosts, it was only Kim whom he did not mention.
The actress came to the rescue of her fans, saying that their reactions were not “kacheapan” and it was just a show of support, and being protective of their idol.
Vice did not let this pass and called out to his fans. He told them that he will not tolerate their bad behavior.
“Sa aking mga LITTLE PONIES hindi sapat at katanggap tanggap na dahilan na mahal nyo ko para maging masama kyo sa iba. Ipinagpapasalamat ko ang suporta nyo but i will not enable your toxic behavior just because i seek ur support. I love you my mature and thinking Little Ponies!” he wrote in his tweet.
With this, the online community concluded that a conflict occurred between Vice Ganda and Kim Chiu. However, in a post on X, the Unkabogable Star stressed that they are okay. “AY di po kami magkaaway. Magka-message po kami now. As ennn,” he said.
Meanwhile, Vice Ganda also caught the attention of the online community when he praised multi-awarded journalist Jessica Soho during an episode of It’s Showtime.
To recall, an issue occurred between them in the past when the comedienne-host used the Kapuso journalist in one of his comedic skits at his concert years ago.
