PRC Announces Extension of Filing of Application for LET March 2019

LET MARCH 2019 – The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced the extension of the filing of application for the Licensure Examination for Teachers (LET) March 2019.

Among the board exams administered by the PRC that gathers thousands of takers every year is the Teacher’s Board Exam or more commonly known as LET.

Every year, the commission conducts two LET exam for aspiring teachers nationwide. It is administered in several PRC testing centers nationwide including the ones in Manila, Baguio, Cebu, Davao, Bacolod, and Iloilo.

The PRC also conducts the LET exam in testing centers in General Santos, Laoag, Tuguegarao, Zamboanga, Tacloban, Occidental Mindoro, Oriental Mindoro, Romblon, Masbate City, Palawan, and Kidapawan.

The most recent LET board exam conducted was on September 2018. A total of 90,750 takers took the exam in the elementary level and 126,582 in the secondary level.

20.29% of the total takers in the elementary level passed the exam equivalent to 18, 409 examinees. In the secondary level, 60,803 or 48.03% of the total takers successfully passed the board exam.

The next teacher’s board exam that the PRC is set to administer is scheduled on March 2019. The commission has previously announced that the filing of application for LET March 2019 is until January 25, 2019.

Recently, the PRC announced the extension of the deadline of the filing of application for LET March 2019. Instead of January 25, 2019 as the last day of the filing of application, it is moved to February 8, 2019.
