Alden Richards Reveals Status Of Relationship With Maine Mendoza Now

Kapuso Pambansang Bae Alden Richards revealed the status of his relationship with Phenomenal Star Maine Mendoza now.

Alden and Maine’s love team called the AlDub soared high in Eat Bulaga‘s Kalyeserye.

Maine played as Yaya Dub and Alden as himself. No one expected that their chemistry onscreen would lead to the creation of a huge fandom.

The AlDub Nation expected that their sweetness onscreen would extend to real life behind the camera.

However, the dreams of the fans were shattered because of Maine’s open letter.

Since that time, Alden Richards and Maine Mendoza are seldom seen together on TV but did not hinder their fans to continue supporting their individual careers.

Later on, the Pambansang Bae was paired with other leading ladies and this happened also to the Phenomenal Star.

In spite of that, they continue in working together in Eat Bulaga as hosts.

Just recently, Alden revealed something about his relationship wit Maine now.

Based on the report from PEP, the actor said “Mas close kami ngayon ni Maine, mas open kami to each other.”

He added that fans who have been rooting for them since day one brings happiness to his heart.

Aside from getting closer, Alden Richards said that they are more mature now.

“Mas naging mature kaming dalawa ni Maine. Being in the industry, siya being here for almost four years, ako being on my eighth year. Almost four years na rin yung AlDub, siguro we’ve matured in a lot of ways,” he shared.

Alden also said that the separation helped them to learn things as individuals, based on the report.

When asked what went wrong between him and Maine Mendoza, the actor said “I guess nothing went wrong. It’s just a matter of choices. I just leave it there.”
