Male Teenager Dies After Electrocuted While Using Earphones of Charging Phone
A 16-year-old male teenager has been found dead by his mother after electrocuted while using earphones of a charging phone.
Mohd Aidi Azzhar Zahrin, a Malaysian teenager has been found lying on the floor at their home in Negeri Sembilan.
Zahrin’s mother thought that her son was just sleeping on the floor but she noticed that the young man had not moved in his place.
The mother returned home and checked her son but its body was already cold, so she immediately called a medical officer on their home.
The medical officer found no injuries from the boy except the bleeding on his left ear and confirmed that Zahrin died hours earlier.
A post-mortem examination showed that the young man died due to electrocution through the headphones connected to his charging phone.
The teen’s brother initially felt a slight electric shock after touching the charging cable, according to some reports.
Zahrin is only one of those who died due to electrocution while using headphones while the phone was charging.
