SM City Bacolod’s shocking incident when a male customer jumped from the third floor

A male customer of SM City Bacolod apparently, jumped from the third floor of the mall.

Based on the Facebook post of netizen Thomas M. Gimang, the said customer deliberately jumped.

Gimang, also shared photos showing the mall’s staff covering the apparent body of the male customer.

At the time of writing, the identity of the man who jumped from the third floor is not yet revealed.

Authorities haven’t released further details of the said incident.

Meanwhile, SM City Bacolod released an official statement through its Facebook Page.

This is the official statement from the management of the mall:

An incident occurred in SM City Bacolod involving a male customer. He was immediately attended to and brought to the nearby hospital by our emergency response team and Bacolod City Disaster Risk Reduction Management Office (DRRMO). An investigation is currently ongoing

In line with this, several netizens expressed their opinions, speculations, and views on the Facebook post of Gimang.

There were netizens who said that it was fake news while there were those who said that it is true since SM City Bacolod released an official statement.

Facebook user Sheryll Lynn Villaflor Pellejo said that it is legitimate because she was there when the incident happened.

She said that it happened 10 to 15 minutes after the mall’s opening. The netizen also disproved that claim of the mall that the man who jumped was a customer.

She said that the man was wearing a uniform of World Of Fun.

There were some netizens who believed that an “unknown entity” is the cause of these kinds of incidents in SM City Bacolod.
