Maine Mendoza Reveals She’s a Distant Relative of Coco Martin
MAINE MENDOZA – Kapuso actress Maine Mendoza revealed her relationship with her Jack Em Popoy leading man Coco Martin.
Filipina actress Maine Mendoza started her career in the show business as Yaya Dub at the Kapuso network’s noontime show Eat Bulaga.
Maine is paired with the GMA networks’ heartthrob Alden Richards. They initiate impromptu comedy on the program which is loved by their Aldub fans.
Phenomenal Star Maine Mendoza is considered one of the most famous and most love celebrities in the entertainment business.
Maine is included on Coco Martin and Vic Sotto’s MMFF movie titled Jack Em Popoy: The Pulisencredible. She’s the leading lady of the Ang Probinsyano actor and daughter of Bossing Vic.
Based on a report from GMA, Maine Mendoza made a revelation about her relationship with co-star Coco Martin during the press conference of their upcoming movie.
The actress stated that she is a distant relative of the Kapamilya actor after the media asked her if there is a chance that she could have a romantic relationship with Coco.
“Para po sa impormasyon ninyong lahat, magkamag-anak ho kami… distant relatives po kami,” she said.
According to the report, Coco Martin said he was shocked after hearing the news and he eventually asked his grandmother about their relatives in Bulacan.
Coco’s grandmother affirmed the last names he mentioned but they are very distant relatives already.
“Tinanong ko po ‘yung lola ko. Sabi ko, ‘La may kamag-anak ba tayong ganito sa Bulacan?’ Ayun, nagkatugma-tugma po,” he said.
Based on the report, Maine Mendoza recalled that during their family reunion, she saw a huge family tree with her and Coco Martin’s name on it.
She expressed that both of them figured that they were relatives two weeks before they started shooting the Jack em Popoy movie.
“Even ‘yung family ko na-meet na rin ni Coco. Opo, nauna two weeks ‘yung reunion,” she added.
Maine Mendoza and Coco Martin had the same charm that captured lots of Filipino fans. No wonder both of them are relatives.
