Latest Updates About The LPA Expected To Enter PH Released By PAGASA

The state weather bureau PAGASA has released the latest updates about the low-pressure area that was expected to enter the Philippine on weekends.

On Friday (November 16, 2018), the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) released the latest weather updates in the country.

The LPA would bring cloudy weather conditions with scattered rains and thunderstorms over Palawan and the western Visayas.

PAGASA reported that the low-pressure area outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) was last spotted at 435 kilometers west of Puerto Princesa in Palawan.

The weather agency also said that another tropical depression was located at 2,310 kilometers east of Mindanao with maximum sustained winds of 45 kilometers per hour (kph) and gustiness of up to 60 kph moving 20 kph at a west direction.

The northeast monsoon would also bring cloudy skies with isolated light rains over Ilocos Region, Cordillera Administrative Region, and Cagayan Valley.

The localized thunderstorms were expected to bring cloudy conditions with isolated rainshowers over Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon.

The weather bureau also advised the residents in the affected areas to take precautionary measures for possible flashfloods and landslides due to severe thunderstorms.
