Mimiyuuuh Reveals Why Love Failures Keep Growing Her Bank Account
MIMIYUUUH – While many dream of finding true love, Mimiyuuuh says her biggest gains have come every time romance leaves her heartbroken.
Mimiyuuuh opened up about the personal and professional changes that came with her success, addressing claims from some online users who believe she has become “unrelatable” after making a name for herself in the entertainment and fashion industries.
The content creator and influencer, whose real name is Jeremy Lomibao Sancebuche, appeared on Kara David’s podcast I-Listen, where she candidly discussed how her life has evolved since achieving fame both in the Philippines and abroad.
Responding to criticism, Mimiyuuuh acknowledged that she has seen numerous comments and articles suggesting that people miss the old version of her.
“As in, ang daming articles Ms. Kara, about it. Unrelatable na raw si Mimi. Na ni-miss ko na ‘yung dating si Mimi.
“Pero, this is the life I want for myself, e. Ever since naman Ms. Kara, kaya po ako nagwo-work hard talaga is to give the best life not only for myself but also to my family.
“And now that I’m living it, ba’t naman po ako magiging apologetic about it?” she said.
She emphasized that while her lifestyle has improved, her personality and values have remained the same despite the success she now enjoys.
“Pero ang core ko po as Mimiyuuuh and as a person, I think same-same pa rin naman po. ‘Yung Mimi na taga-Baclaran. Siya pa rin po ‘yun.
“May kasabihan nga po ako, you can take the girl out of Baclaran, but you can’t take the Baclaran out of the girl,” she shared.
“Pero looking at it, pare-pareho pa rin po ng value ‘yung meron kami. So, nagbago po ang buhay ko, nagbago ang pananamit ko, pero si Mimiyuuuh noon hanggang ngayon, siya pa rin naman po ‘yun,” she added.
Mimiyuuuh also stressed that everything she has today is the result of years of hard work and determination. She believes there is nothing wrong with rewarding herself after achieving her goals through honest means.
“Ano ba naman ‘yung i-reward mo ‘yung sarili mo from time to time para lang mas sipagin ka? Hindi naman ito galing sa nakaw, Ms. Kara. So bakit ko naman talaga ipagkakait sa sarili ko? And we deserve nothing but the best,” she explained.
When asked about the next chapter in her life, the social media personality admitted that genuine happiness has become her biggest aspiration.
“Gusto ko lang po maging masaya. Pero it’s so hard, especially now, to be happy, ‘di ba, Ms. Kara?
“Kasi ang rami mong sacrifices, ang dami mong dapat meron bago ka maging masaya,” she said.
As she approaches her 30th birthday this year, Mimiyuuuh shared that she has learned to appreciate a slower and more peaceful lifestyle.
“Kasi parang now na I’m turning 30 this year, mas nag-i-enjoy na po ako sa mga kalmadong araw, mga slow-paced life,” she remarked.
The influencer also revealed that she is happily single at the moment, joking that heartbreak has somehow brought financial blessings instead of romance.
“Wala po (lovelife). Kapagod. 2018, 2019, bago ako maging Mimiyuuuh sa social media, sabi ko, ‘Universe, bigyan mo na lang ako ng pera kahit huwag na lalaki. Ayun.
“So, every time nasasaktan ako sa lalaki, lumalaki ang back account ko. And I feel like, okay na ‘yan. Kesa naman sa wala,” Mimiyuuuh quipped, ending the conversation with her trademark humor.
