Netizen Posts About Stray Man Speaking Fluent English While Begging for Food

STRAY MAN – This stray man spoke fluent English while begging for food and he turned out to be an alleged former professor in UP and Ateneo.

It’s hard to ignore the beggars on the streets who ask for money, food, or similar items given to the poor as a charitable act.

We cannot ignore the crying beggars on the streets or the crying babies they are carrying with them to ask for alms.

There are a lot of beggars in the Philippines and it breaks our hearts to see homeless people on the streets asking money or food to eat.

Based on a Facebook post of Aksyon Radyo Bacolod, a netizen named Faith “Faye” Ares expressed an act of kindness to a homeless man in Cebu who happens to speak English fluently.

She said that the stray man went to her and told her that he did not come to ask for money but for food because he is hungry.

“Miss, I am sorry, but I have to tell you something. Please don’t get mad.”

“And sorry to bother you but I’m not gonna ask for money, I’ll be asking for food to eat ‘coz I’m hungry,” he added.

The curiosity about the stray man got the best of Faye. She was also hungry so she led the stranger to the nearest fast food chain which is Jollibee.

The stray man was surprised and happy to have someone actually offer him a treat and not just ignore him.

During their conversation, Faye figured that the name of the stray man was Jansen Locsin who allegedly graduated from Ateneo de Manila.

Locsin claimed that he was a former professor in two of the most prestigious schools in the country, the University of the Philippines and Ateneo.

Jansen Locsin told Faye that he was in Cebu for a new business venture but he allegedly got unlucky and was left bankrupt and homeless.

The stray man claims that he does not have a family of his own but he has two sisters who currently live in Bacolod City.

After their meal, Faith Ares handed the stray man a hundred peso bill and a bottle of water. He asked for her number so that he may have a chance to thank her one day.
